The design facilitated the refurbishment of a 110 sqm apartment, intended for a single tenant, to accommodate a family of five. A contemporary and open arrangement incorporating children friendly materials and equipment was requested by the clients while sustaining energy efficiency and low maintenance. The apartment was gutted with a redesign of the kitchen , an additional bathroom, developed attic space and the insertion of a chimney. The entire project took three months to complete.
