The dilemma of incorporating a new style of residence into an already established and defined neighborhood is one challenge that this particular project encountered. Located on one quadrant of an intersection, the solution for this project was the relationship of the residence to the roundabout and the relationship to the existing houses that flanked the site on its two adjacent sides.
The result was a concept of three separate and distinct interlocking designs that function independently of one another, yet was cohesive when viewed as a whole.
