Situated at one of the busiest vehicular and pedestrian intersections, in the heart of St. James, the site for this particular project basically dictated the building’s design and its environs. One of the key factors in the survival of any business is its ability to encourage and welcome new clients, especially fledging businesses that are now starting off.
To this end we deliberately set out to take advantage of the site’s visual position to the two major streets which cross its path. Our goal was to attract customers to this new establishment by opening up the Office in an exhibitionist fashion to display its products and services. In addition to this visual incitement we sought to bring attention to the building’s exterior though the use of colour in its otherwise monotone context.
